Yes, we have a ten million dollar policy that insures us at every venue we perform at. Many hotels and banquet facilities will not allow a DJ service to perform there without this insurance, so make sure whoever you hire is insured for personal liability.

2.Do I have to sign a contract?
Yes.  Other services you will be using that night make you sign a contract as well.  The importance of a written agreement between both you and the entertainment is also very important.  All terms of the event should be in writing to avoid any misunderstanding at a later date.  Every booking is confirmed by using a written contract, agreed upon and signed by the client.

5.What happens if your equipment goes down or the DJ can't make it?
Even professional equipment can fail on occasion, so it is important to know whether your DJ has spare equipment available to them.  Any number of circumstances may arise between the time you book your DJ and the date of your event.  It is important to know if the DJ has a backup plan in case of illness or accident.

We have a complete backup system including music.  How many other DJs bring along backup music?  We also have complete access to emergency DJ personnel.  In any case, you are fully covered and protected.  We could not survive as a business if We did not.

9.Do you use professional equipment?
There is a difference between the audio equipment you have at home and the equipment a professional Disc Jockey uses.  Professional audio equipment is built to go on the road day in and day out.  Make sure your prospective choices use only professional equipment to insure the music sounds as good as possible for all of your guests enjoyment.

We only use top of the line Industry Standard Equipment, built to stand the demands of traveling and high demands that most events require.  Also, Our equipment is professionally maintained at frequent intervals for peak performance.  We also have a Sound Engineer tweaking the sound system prior to the event to get the clearest sound.

10.Will you hold my date while we decide?
There is a discrepancy among services on how to handle the 'pencil me in while I decide'.  For the large agencies, this can cause trouble since they can sometimes over extend their staff by keeping dates on the books w/o a retainer.  Many of the independent services will only hold a date (usually 10 days) while the agreement is returned w/ a retainer.  Others will use a verbal (not recommended) agreement.

A DJ does not have inventory like a store such as a florist or bridal shop.  Abandoned inventory can be later sold (maybe at a discount).  A calendar is a DJ's inventory.  Once a date passes, it can never be booked.  It is gone forever.  There are only 52 weekends in a year that a DJ can book.  Now, because of this, the better (more upscale) services will not hold a date for any reason unless there is a retainer paid and signed agreement on file.  Just like a lawyer won't dispense any legal advice or services until his retainer at least is paid.

11.What is your policy on alcohol?
There is only one answer.... Would your boss allow you to consume a beer or mixed adult beverage during your shift?  A drunk DJ will embarrass you in front of your guests plus increase your bar tab.

See above... Our DJ's do not drink while on duty.

12.Is the price of your service a good value?
The cheapest DJ is rarely the best value.  The DJ sets the tone of your event and holds the power to entertain or turn off your guests.  Don't chance ruining fine catering, decorations, flowers, and photography by trying to save a few dollars with a discount DJ.

We are an EXCEPTIONAL value for the money!  Call us to set up an appointment.   We will quote you a price for services that will meet and exceed your expectations!
